First Meeting

Hope we all had an awesome summer; it was great seeing everyone again. We had a lot of things to talk about in club on Monday.

First, we would like to say thank you to Sean O'Leary for doing an amazing job as Club president last semester. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, he has given up his presidency. So, we welcome Christopher Remaly as he takes on Presidency this semester. Vice Presidency is now vacant and a vote will be hopefully held this coming Monday or possibly Thursday. If you would like to take this position and are able to be at every club meeting from 3:30 until 6:00 then let Chris know ASAP.

Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Shaun is on the radio, so make sure you look out for him there. Also, those who would like to help us advertise our club this is a great opportunity. Again, please let Chris know or send us an email if you'd like to go live on the radio and talk a little about our club. There are other advertisement ways, however. So if you don't like being live on the radio talking to people and would prefer helping hanging posters or even making the posters, again, drop an email, message on the forums, facebook message, or even pull us to the side if you wish.

The Post Apocalyptic party is still on. The officers are hoping to see this happen around October or in the spring. We have many things to get planned, but keep an eye out for further info on this. Other club activities getting into planning formation is a Bake Sale. Our club has done well in the past with Bake sales, so expect to see another one or two this year.

The last bit of info discussed in our last club meeting dealt with the NORO meeting and pricing. With the next current meeting being next Saturday I am not sure what is going to be occurring for this meeting. This will be updated after tomorrow when more information is available.

Our club will be meeting Thursday, August 26th, normal time. If you can make it we'd love for you to come. Bring some anime and we'll take a vote. The system of anime watching is of right now voting, so we'll see if we get back onto a name schedule or what happens with that. We hope to make Thursday our unofficial date or possibly another official meeting date. The meeting room may change from the Alcove to a different room, this room and it's number/location will also be updated so don't worry about that. Tomorrow we'll help those find the room if we're in it again.
